With the Jayam Raja camp purchasing
the rights of this year’s
smash hit Kick, there are reports
that he could rope in Vijay to play
the lead role. Kick, which starred
Ravi Teja, Shaam and Ileana, turned
out to be blockbuster, making it
a hot property among the remake
directors. The director was supposed
to direct Vijay’s 50th film
but the opportunity went to director
Perarasu and hence he settled for
the 51st film.
Speaking about the venture, Raja
said that he expects that this remake
would turn out to be the highest
grosser as far as all his ventures
till date are concerned. However,
it is still not clear if Raja would
offer the lead role to Vijay or
keep it within the family and sign
up his brother Jayam Ravi.
