It is well known that Bollywood
stars like Preity Zinta, Shah Rukh
Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Juhi Chawla
own their IPL teams. This trend
has moved down south too, with Divya
Spandana deciding to try her luck
with the Karnataka IPL team. Mohanlal
and Priyadarshan have decided on
a Kerala IPL team, it may be recalled.
The actress is now the owner of
this IPL team. Speaking about it,
Divya said that owning a team was
her dream for a long time. Though
Divya belongs to a politically active
family, none of her relatives are
invovled in the IPL team deal.
