Padmapriya to wear director’s cap for this film

Padmapriya, introduced to the tinsel town by director-turned-actor Cheran, could soon adorn the director’s mantle if things go her way. The actress, currently on the sets of Pokkisham in Gobichettypalayam, turns into an assistant director soon after the scenes involving her for the day is shot. She also makes it a point to arrive at the sets the first thing in

the morning even if she is not required for the shoots. All this seems to have earned her the Assistant Director title. Padmapriya says that she has a penchant for reading and writing stories and this developed an interest in direction. The actress disclosed that she had worked as Cheran’s assistant in Thavamai Thavam Irundhu and considers him to be her guru.
