The title of Vijay-starrer
Kaavalkaran has been changed to Kaaval Kaadhal,
which was reported a few days ago. The reason
for the name change is cited to be the objection
raised by Sathya Movies, which owns the title
and other rights of the 1967-released Kaavalkaran.
MGR and Jayalalitha had starred in this film.
Sathya Movies had sent a letter to the Producers’
Council stating that it had not parted with
the title of Kaavalkaran and hence the name
should not be used for the Vijay-starrer.
Following this, the title has been changed
to Kaaval Kaadhal.
