The
5 year old court cases following her
comments on women and virginity seems
to be still haunting Kushboo. Her
appeal to the Supreme Court, challenging
the 20 something odd cases against
her in Tamil Nadu, is met with the
ire of judge K G Balakrishnan who
observed her comments as indigestible
and unacceptable.
The case was considered for hearing
today and after review, judge K G
Balakrishnan, instructed Kushboo to
send explanation to the court on her
comments within a period of two weeks.
Kushboo found herself in the eye of
the storm in 2005 after her opinions
favoring pre-marital sex and stating
that ‘an educated man should
not expect their brides to be virgins’. |
