The
makers of Aayirathil Oruvan have decided
to cut about 20 minutes of the film.
While the earlier version was 3:05
hours, the new version will go on
for 2:45 hours. The scenes that went
under the scissors were the gory death
of Parthiban, the controversial scenes
of Reema Sen, and the snake scenes.
Movie buffs have also complained that
the ancient Tamil spoken during the
second half is difficult to comprehend.
Due to this, the second half will
have sub-titles for better understanding.
The new version is expected to bring
in more people to the theatres. |
