has been signed up for a Kannada film
that is to be directed by Upendra,
who will also don the greasepaint.
The actress opens up on why she agreed
to star in a Kannada film. According
to Nayan, it is her strongest desire
to act in a Kannada film before bidding
adieu to filmdom. Nayan adds that
she was waiting for the right time
to enter into the Kannada film industry
and when the opportunity presented
itself, she lapped it up.
The lady, in a recent interview to
a daily, has said that Bangalore is
close to her heart, as it is her birthplace.
