He is now ready with his next film titled Urumi for which the hunt for the lead actors has finally ended with Sibi and Aparna playing these roles.
This film, the director says, is based on the significance of the instrument Urumi, a folk one used before the commencement of the Jallikattu to infuriate the bull. This forms the premise of the movie in which the protagonist who happens to be an unassuming personality is instigated by the vagaries in society in the same fashion as the bull, using the Urumi. The film has B.I. Sanjay in charge of cinematography and Vidyasagar handling the music. The movie demands racy folk numbers to suit the situations in the film and the composer has started his research on such folk tunes using Urumi and he plans to highlight them in the movie. Hunt is on for the singers to suit those tunes. Sounds like one film that surely is different.
