Vikram
and Tamannah have been selected for the Edison
Awards 2009. The grand function in which the
duo will be handed over the award will be held
on February 14th in Chennai. Speaking about
the Edison awards, its organizer Selvakumar
said that this award is different from the other
film awards. He added that Edison awards were
given through the television channels in Singapore,
Malaysia, Dubai, Canada, UK and Australia.
A cultural event will be organized by the television
channels of these countries. Apart from Vikram
and Tamannah, several other actors actresses
and technicians will also be honored in this
event. Ganesh Venkatraman will also be receiving
an award for his performance in Unnaipol Oruvan.
