K J Yesudas the melody king of
film industry was present during
the audio launch of “Bayam
Ariyaan’, a film directed
by Pradheesh for Jeyamathey Pictures
with newcomer Mahesh Raja as hero
and Uday Thara as heroine. The event
was a star studded function in Film
Chambers building. The first audio
copy was released by Sneha and Venkat
Prabhu.
Yesudas had rendered his voice for
a number ‘amma nee irundal
oru deivam thevai illai’ which
was written by Mohan Rajan. When
the veteran singer heard this number,
tears started rolling down his cheeks
and he was visibly moved by the
song. Later he was reported to have
said that after ‘Amma enrazhaikaada’
from Rajni’s Mannan, this
song from Bayam Ariyaan has struck
a chord in him and he is sure about
the success of the song.
Bayam Ariyaan audio launch was also
attended by James Vasanthan, Jai
and Vaibhav among others.
