Prakash Raj is wielding the mega
phone for the remake of Abhiyum
Naanum in Kannada under the title
Naanu Nanna Kanasu. Prakash dons
the greasepaint once again for the
same role he played in Tamil. The
film was directed in Tamil by Radha
Mohan and Prakash Raj’s Duet
Films produced it.
There were reports that Divya Spandana
would play Trisha’s role in
the film. However, when the film’s
shooting began recently, Divya did
not participate in it. Instead,
the film was shot with Amulya.
Enquiries in the tinsel town revealed
that certain differences between
the actress and the producers have
led to Divya’s ouster. Apparently,
the lady opted out due to payment
issues.
