It may be recalled that the production house
agreed to pay her Rs. 1.20 crores for starring
in the film. In Nayan’s complaint
to the Nadigar Sangam, she had stated that
she was blackmailed by the producers that
the film’s shooting would commence
only if she agrees to reduce her salary.
The actress said that she wasted three months
of time waiting for the film to commence
and she would return the advance amount
only if she is duly compensated.
