Eeram is directed by Arivazhagan, who apprenticed
with Shankar in Boys and Anniyan. Arivazhagan
is a gold medal winner from the Tamil Nadu
government for one of his short films. Mirugam
Aadhi and Nanda are cast in the lead in
Eeram with Sindhu Menon and Saranya Mohan
pairing up with them. Second leg of the
movie has been shot in Tiruchy and Pondy
after the 50-day schedule was shot in a
mammoth set. Thaman scores music for Eeram
and the movie is slated for an April release.
Rettaichuzhi stars the two veterans of Tamil
cinema – Balachander and Bharathiraja
– in vital roles. Balachander's erstwhile
assistant Thamira directs the movie while
Karthik Raja scores the music. Set in the
backdrop of Thirunelveli district, the movie
narrates the story of two families and predominantly
the mischievous kids in the families. Manobala,
Ilavarasu, Karunas, Srinivas and a bunch
of debutants also star in Rettaichuzhi.
