Monica’s blues
December 08, 2008
She showed no qualms in getting drenched in a tomato red sari for the thriller Silandhi, but upcoming actor Monica seems to be repenting her decision now. “I have been approached with similar roles for more than half a dozen movies after Silandhi’s release. All of them required me to shed clothes in one way or other,” she whines in a

complaining tone in a media interaction recently. She did not, however, take up any of those roles for fear of being stereotyped.

She vouches for the success of her upcoming flick A, Aa, E, Ee… and states that this movie has an endearing storyline like that of Santosh Subramaniam. Monica is paired opposite Aravind in the movie that also has Prabhu in a significant role.

As for future projects, she has Agarathi and Varnam in the pipeline in Tamil and a Kannada movie.
