December season in Kollywood

A temporary lull in the last couple of months in the industry will be replaced by barrage of movies in December 2008. Saamida, a film that is shot in Kasi, will be out on the 6th. Silambarasan's Silambattam is likely to be released on the 12th while official confirmation is awaited. 'Where is the party tonight' is on the top of charts and his fans are eagerly

awaiting this release. AVM's Aa Aaa Yi Yee with two young couple doing the central role will hit the screens on the 18th.

Besides these movies, other films that are anticipated are: Ravi Krishna and Kamalaini Mukherjee's Kaadal Naa Summa Illai, Abirami Ramanadan's Panjamirtham, Maddy's Guru En Aalu and Aindam Padai. However, Radha Mohan's Abhiyum Naanum which was expected for Diwali may also hit the marquee during this season. Perarasu's Thiruvannamalai with Arjun may throw a surprise with an early release.
