Jayam Ravi’s forthcoming
release Peranmai has been in the
making for quite a while now. The
film, which is being directed byJananathan
has some tricky fight sequences
and was shot extensively in forests
delaying the project even further.
When a Hindi film producer came
to know of Peranmai through his
sources he decided to lap up the
film’s rights even before
it is released in Tamil. However,
the director and the producer of
Peranmai disclosed the difficulties
in remaking the film and advised
the Bollywood producer to dub the
film. The final outcome of this
discussion is yet to be known.
