Mani Ratnam following Selvaraghavan and Jananathan?

Ace director Mani Ratnam seems to be taking cues from directors Selvaraghavan and Jananathan, for he intends to start his next project in the forests located in Madhya Pradesh. Selvaraghavan and Jananathan were recently spotted in some forest areas to shoot their respective films Aayirathil Oruvan and Peraanmai.

Sources have it that Mani Ratnam has entered into a Rs. 120-crore contract with Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group to produce the film on a first copy basis. The film is a trilingual – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu – and has Abishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Govinda in the lead roles. Prithviraj has been signed up to play Govinda’s role in Tamil. Karthik and Priyamani have also been roped for prominent roles in the film. A.R. Rahman will score the music.
