tied the knot and quit films for good.
The lady flew down to Ireland, on Friday
(08/08/08), with husband Ajilesh to
set up her new home. Call it sheer coincidence
or perfect timing, her last film, Veruthe
Oru Bariya hit the screens on the very
same day. In the film, Gopika plays
a beleaguered housewife and Jayaram
has donned
the role of her husband. The film has had
a good opening and Gopika’s role in
it has become the talk of the town, reports
sources. Now, that’s one farewell
every actress would wish for!
