The Yercaud Express travelling from Chennai to Erode reportedly derailed on Sunday night in Arakkonam. According to reports, The train derailed because of the fracture in the track. However, there was no loss of life nor injuries as the train’s speed was considerably slow. Notably, Tamil Nadu's Higher Education Minister KP Anbazhagan was travelling on the train during the mishap.
