Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday reportedly said that Tamil Nadu government would sanction the construction of three lakh houses in 2017-18. According to reports, the houses will be constructed under the central government's 'Housing for All' scheme. Notably, the outlay for this scheme is said to be Rs. 3,855 crore.
