Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister Venkaiah Naidu has reportedly said that the government is formulating a new Metro Rail policy. According to reports, Naidu flagged off the underground metro rail service between Thirumangalam to Nehru Park in Chennai and also added that the policy would also enable land value capture, transit- oriented development for the upcoming Metro Rail projects.
