Andrea, an eight-year-old girl from Chennai, drowned in the swimming pool in front of her trainer during summer camp on Mogappair East on Saturday. The girl immediately was taken to the hospital, but she was declared dead. Parents of the deceased did not file any complaints, but the police have registered a case under CrPc 174 suspicious death. Notably, relatives alleged that no proper first aid was given to the girl.
