WTO allows Mexico to impose trade sanctions against US

In a complaint dating back to 2008, the World Trade Organization has ruled that Mexico can impose sanctions against the United States over the trade in tuna fish. In the complaint, Mexico accused the US of unfairly penalising its fishing industry. Reportedly, Mexico can now slap a $163.23 million fine on the US every year until the situation is resolved.
