O Panneerselvam camp has reportedly welcomed the rival AIADMK camp’s move of removing the banners containing V K Sasikala’s images from the party headquarters. K P Munusamy of O Panneerselvam camp said removal of the banners was the "first step" in implementing their core demand of removing Sasikala from AIADMK. However, Law Minister C Ve Shanmugam reportedly said the banners were removed as per their earlier decision.
