TTV Dhinakaran, the AIADMK Amma candidate for the upcoming RK Nagar by-poll on Friday skipped the court proceedings in the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act violation case registered against him by the Enforcement Directorate in 1996. Dhinakaran reportedly stated that he was busy with the by-election campaign and directed his counsel to file a petition to adjourn the case until the election was over. Notably, Dhinakaran has been accused of illegally obtaining $10,493,313 through foreign exchange.
