Indian auto giant Tata Motors has reportedly announced to take away the designations of as many as 10,000 employees to become a more aligned organisation. Designations including General Manager, Senior General Manager, VP and Senior VP have been scrapped. The move reduces Tata Motors' hierarchy levels from 14 to just five.
