Former Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister and the current Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has reportedly said that July 1, the day Goods and Services Tax is set to be rolled out, would be the first Diwali for India’s economy. According to reports, Naik also added that approval from both the houses of parliament and the state legislatures had given a final shape for GST.
