Dengue death toll hits 84, but shocking no. of health inspectors' posts vacant

In a shocking report by Times of India, it has been revealed that 60% of posts for health inspector remains vacant. The outbreak of dengue would have majorly been reduced if the positions were filled by the government, health officials reportedly said. Apparently, out of 10,000 health inspectors, only 3,000 positions have been filled in Tamil Nadu.
