According to reports, former Indian President Abdul Kalam’s grandson on Sunday kept a copy of the Quran and the Bible in front of Abdul Kalam statue which was recently opened by PM Modi. Kalam’s grandson said that this move would be an effort to avoid further speculation regarding the controversy of Bhagavad Gita placed in front of Kalam statue. Notably, many political leaders condemned the BJP over the Bhagavad Gita controversy.
