Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio programme ‘Mann ki Baat’ said that GST had transformed the Indian economy. He also added that the smooth transition bringing in such a huge reform in a country with crores of people could be a case study for universities. He termed success of GST is a "historic achievement".
