With rain hitting around Krishnagiri bringing more water to south Penna river, reportedly there is a substantial flow in the Krishnagiri (KRP) dam. According to the reports of Deccan Chronicle, the Public Welfare Department has cautioned five districts on flood alert in the west of TN. Reportedly, the storage capacity of the dam is 44feet, and the water level has crossed 42feet.
