Hold civil elections before November 17: Madras HC to EC

The Madras High Court on Monday reportedly ordered the Tamil Nadu Election Commission to hold the local body elections by November 17. The court also reportedly ordered the Commission to float the election notification by September 18. Passing the order on a batch of writ appeals, the court ordered to complete the entire election process by November 17.
