Chennai man arrested, suspected as ISIS recruiter

The National  Investigation Agency on Monday arrested a man in Chennai who is allegedly recruiting members for ISIS. Reportedly, Shakul Hameed, an MBA graduate travelled to Syria to join ISIS as a foot soldier in 2015. Hameed was recruiting people in Chennai to plan an attack in Tamil Nadu on behalf of the militant group. According to media reports, Hameed is the third suspect of ISIS in four days. After the NIA arrested Hameed, the investigation found that they have been collecting funds for IS and have been sending people to Syria to get trained.
