According to reports, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel has called India "too poor" to expand his market base. When asked about Snapchat's slow growth in the Indian market, Spiegel reportedly said: “I don’t want to expand into poor countries like India and Spain.” Other than that, he also allegedly told: “This app is only for rich people."
