According to reports, the 1,000 MW second nuclear plant at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project will officially start its power generation from Wednesday. Earlier the unit was under outage since June 25 due to control circuit malfunction. Notably, in the month of May, the unit was shut down due to water and steam leakage for several days.
