Vivo pays Rs 2,200 crore for IPL title rights

The Chinese tech giant Vivo mobiles have reportedly retained the title rights for the next five years of Indian Premier League. According to reports, Vivo has paid Rs 2,200 crore for IPL title rights which is 455% higher than the 2017 IPL title contract. Notably, IPL's first-ever title rights deal worth Rs 200 crore for five years signed in 2008 by a real estate company DLF.
