Gujarat High Court on Wednesday reportedly ruled that criminal cases cannot be filed against "sex workers." However, the court also said that this clause would apply only 'if sex worker not forced into it.' The court was reportedly interpreting provision of Section 370. Notably, the section was made more stringent following the Nirbhaya gangrape case.
