For improving the overall imaging experience on Nokia smartphones, its brand licensee HMD Global and Zeiss on Thursday announced a strategic partnership for optics on the smartphones. Zeiss technology will be deeply integrated with Nokia smartphones in terms of optics and software. Nokia and Zeiss’ partnership that started in 2005 managed to sell as many as 100 million smartphones.
