India witnessed its first lesbian marriage when a 25-year-old woman reportedly tied the knot with her 21-year-old distant relative at a temple in Koramangala, Bengaluru. While the parents of the younger one filed a missing complaint initially, police investigation later revealed that the duo was married. Notably, same-sex marriages are not legal in India.
