The Supreme Court on Tuesday reportedly stayed the recent ban of banning cattle slaughter for trade which was implemented by the Center. The court has now extended the stay given by the Madras High Court, to the entire country. Notably, the order came after the Union government told the court that they will take a relook at the rules.
