All India Council for Technical Education has made it compulsory for engineering students to participate in one of five extracurricular activities for completing their degree. The activities include yoga, National Service Scheme, National Cadet Corps, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and sports. Further, a minimum attendance of 25% in the activity chosen is compulsory.
