55-year-old Zafar Khan reportedly died after being manhandled by a team of sanitation workers in Pratapgarh, Rajasthan. According to reports, Khan was beaten by officials for trying to dissuade them from clicking pictures of women who had gone to relieve themselves in the open. Officials were reportedly clicking pictures for an awareness campaign. Initial reports suggest Khan suffered a heart stroke during the scuffle. However, the post-mortem report is awaited. The police have detained all the officials responsible for the incident.
