According to the World Happiness Report 2017, India ranked 122 among the World’s happiest countries. The list was released on March 20, the International Day of Happiness. Norway was the happiest country in the world, while the USA ranked 14. Notably, India’s border-sharing nations, China, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka ranked 79, 80, 99, 110 and 120 respectively.
