The merger between Vodafone and Idea has reportedly bagged the number one position in the Indian telecom industry, pushing the former top telco Airtel to the second spot. According to reports, the subscriber count of Vodafone-Idea is around 39 crore, which is higher than Airtel's 27 crore and Jio’s 7.2 crore subscriber counts.
