A government school teacher in Karnataka was allegedly set on fire in the classroom by her husband due to a financial dispute. Reportedly, the man entered the school seeking permission that he needs to take his wife to the hospital. He had a quarrel with his wife in front of the students and suddenly poured a liquid on her and set her on fire. On hearing her screams, the staff came running to help the teacher when they saw the man running out of the school. Reports states that Sunanda, the teacher, sustained 40% burns and the man was her second husband who constantly demanded money from her to start a business.
