Driverless cars will not be allowed in India: Gadkari

Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin on Monday said driverless cars and any technology that takes away jobs would not be allowed in India. "The unemployed youth is a big issue, we have a shortage of 22,000 drivers," he added. Notably, driverless car technology is being tested in several countries such as the US and the UK.
