An eight-month-old boy from Maharashtra on Friday reportedly died of suffocation after swallowing a rubber balloon. After the child began choking, his parents took him to a private hospital where they were told to take him to the civil hospital. Doctors at the civil hospital declared him dead and the police registered a case of accidental death.
