Guj Dy CM’s son taken off flight as he was ‘heavily drunk’

According to reports, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel's son was stopped from boarding a Qatar Airways flight on Monday. Airport officials reportedly said Jaiman Patel, who is in his mid-30s, along with his wife Jhalak and daughter Vaishvi, arrived in a “heavily drunken” state and argued with the staff at the airport. Barely able to walk due to his inebriated condition, he cleared the immigration and other checks in a wheelchair, said airport officials. Meanwhile, Nitin Patel claimed his son was not feeling well and said, “Our opponents are trying to tarnish our image by spreading false and mischievous information.”
