According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday, arrested Madhan of Vendhar movies under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Reportedly, he was arrested in connection with alleged cheating of public of about Rs 91 crore on the pretext of admissions in SRM Group of Institutions. About 133 parents, who alleged to have paid Rs. 50 lakh to over Rs.1 crore to Madan, have filed complaints against him, said ED.
