The principal sessions court in Chennai on Wednesday granted bail to MDMK chief Vaiko. According to reports, Vaiko refused the magistrate’s offer to release him on bail, during a hearing on April 3. Hence, the magistrate remanded him in judicial custody, and later he was lodged in the Central Prison at Puzhal.
